Dr Lisa Henshaw

Lisa has worked in the Macarthur area since moving here from Melbourne in 2002 and has been at Camden Valley Animal Hospital since 2017. She is also an active member of the community; judging, trialling and instructing in dog agility at Wollondilly All Breeds Kennel Club. She has 2 dogs, Tarka and Elsie, and a cat Hootie. Tarka (pictured with Lisa) is a young working Cocker Spaniel. Lisa would like you and your pet to feel happy and comfortable when visiting here, be it for a quick trip or a longer stay in hospital. Lisa is working with the rest of the team to help us become a certified Fear Free Veterinary Hospital; sufficient time, gentle handling techniques and judicious use of medications is used to help your pet if required. Lisa has attained her membership of the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Behaviour, which means she successfully completed further study and examination in Veterinary Behaviour, so is qualified to provide consultations and treatment for animals with behaviour problems. She also takes our Puppy School client nights to help you and your puppy start out on the right paw.
